Mike du Jour’s Dante Comic
The comic, created by the Atlanta-based cartoonist Mike du Jour (Mike Lester), features the character “Danté,” a dragon trainer who falls ill. Throughout the comic, Danté lingers. He never succumbs to the illness, yet he never recovers.
