Whirlybird, “Dante’s Inferno,” Hot Flashes (2019)
On October 9, 2019, American band Whirlybird released their EP Hot Flashes which included a song called “Dante’s Inferno.” The lyrics make reference to Dante’s journey through Hell, with the first line of every chorus progressively changing as Dante traverses the infernal pit: “Dante’s coming through the inferno”; “Dante’s stumbling through the inferno”; “Dante, you got lost in the inferno”; and “Dante, get out of the inferno.”
