Metamorfosi, Inferno (1973)
The Italian progressive rock band Metamorfosi released Inferno in 1973. The album tracks correspond with the classes of sinners that Dante meets on his journey through the afterlife, although in some cases the musicians did alter some of the sins punished in hell. Metamorfosi subsequently released two more albums centered on the Divine Comedy: Paradiso (2004) and Purgatorio (2016).
