Peter Mann, “Dinner with Dante” (2014)
This humorous comic imagines Dante at dinner with the Polenta family—his patrons in Ravenna, with whom he stayed at the end of his life—discussing the presentation of Francesca in Inferno 5. (Francesca was the aunt of Dante’s patron Guido Novello da Polenta.)
