Lars von Trier, The House that Jack Built
An ultraviolent foray into a self admitted psychopath’s internal psychology, which in the last 40 minutes of the film becomes a straight adaptation of Dante’s Inferno. Virgil is a featured character who guides the protagonist (Jack) through the layers of hell.
